What is the relationship between Chinalawinfo, Lawinfochina, and
En.pkulaw.com?
Chinalawinfo Co. Ltd. is our company’s official English name. Chinalawinfo provides
a wide range of legal information services and operates a number of websites. ChinalawInfo’s
mission is to provide users with the most complete, accurate, and up-to-date legal
information.
Lawinfochina and En.pkulaw.cn both provide resources on Chinese law via English
translation. Lawinfochina is our legacy website and is still preferred by many of
our clients. En.pkulaw.cn is our alternative English-language website and is more
fully integrated with our Chinese-language legal information services. Much of the
content is the same on both Lawinfochina and En.pkulaw.cn.
What are the sources for translated documents?
The vast majority of our translations are completed by Peking University’s Institute
of Legal Translation Studies (“ILTS”). ILTS translations strive, as much as possible,
for accuracy, readability and timeliness. Occasionally, the Chinese government’s
official English-language translation is provided.

How do I perform searches?
Quick searches can be performed from the search boxes on our homepage. To enable
more advanced searches in a specific database, click on a database name in the “search”
bar at the top of our homepage. The main page of the specific database will pop
up and a search box will be at the top of the page. Input keywords, choose the search
mode, check any boxes to limit your search, and click “search.” Filter search results
by using the left-hand filter options.

You may also browse by area of law, judicial case dispute type, date, or a variety
of other browsing options.

How do I open an account?
To use the subscription areas of our English Translation Database, you will need
to subscribe.
|
Once you have completed a subscription request, submit payment through your preferred
payment method. Your account will be activated within one working day of receiving
your payment.
