The Measures for the Registration Assessment of Forensic Evaluation Institutions for Environmental Damage and the Measures for the Administration of Expert Banks for the Registration Assessment of Forensic Evaluation Institutions for Environmental Damage, as jointly developed by the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Environmental Protection, came into force on December 1, 2016.
The two sets of Measures have specific provisions on the access and administration of forensic evaluation institutions for environmental damage. The first Measures strictly regulate the qualification for forensic evaluation and the assessment procedure and rules for forensic evaluation institutions for environmental damage.
The second Measures require the establishment and improvement of the expert bank system, with detailed provisions on the application conditions for inclusion in the banks, the specific work of experts, and the dynamic management of expert banks.
