On March 20, 2020, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) issued the Decision on Amending Certain Rules regarding Securities and Futures (hereinafter the ‘Decision').
The Decision makes corresponding amendments to the content of relevant regulations in accordance with the new securities law. Its focus is on amending several provisions of 13 rules and 29 regulatory documents. The Decision mainly deals with relevant clauses in the system of mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations, information disclosure, management of stock exchanges, cancellation of administrative permits, supervision over securities fund operating agencies, supervision over securities service agencies, supervision over law enforcement measures, and integrity supervision, among others.
