The Qinghai Provincial Government recently issued the Main Functional Zone Plan of Qinghai Province.

The Plan consists of eight parts including the preface, the background of the plan, the classification of national main functional zones, the guidelines and objectives, the division of  the main functional zones in Qinghai, energy resources and infrastructure, regional policies, and the implementation of the plan. According to the Plan, the main functional zones of Qinghai are divided into three types, namely,  priority development zones, restricted development zones and prohibited development zones.
