China issued the Provisions on Transforming For-Profit Cultural Public Institutions into Enterprises during Cultural System Reform on April 16 and requires good resettlement of the employees after the transformation of for-profit cultural public institutions. The Provisions provide that an employee who will reach the national statutory retirement age within five years at the time of transformation may, upon mutual agreement between the employee and employer, leave his or her post in advance; and shall go through retirement formalities according to enterprise measures when reaching the statutory retirement age.
