The Ministry of Land and Resources (MLR) recently issued the Guiding Opinions on the Economical and Intensive Use of Land.
The Opinions mandate that the total area of land for construction be strictly controlled and land use structure and layout be upgraded. The Opinions also emphasize efforts to provide vitality to the supply of land for construction as well as improving the land purchase and reserve system and establishing a proactive incentive system for the supply of land for construction.
