The Ministry of Environmental Protection, the National Development and Reform Commission and other eight departments recently issued the Notice.
The ten departments emphasize that nature reserves are areas forbidden from development where the development and construction activities not conforming to their functional position shall be strictly prohibited. In addition, local competent authorities shall implement the Provisions on the Administration of Adjustment to National Nature Reserves and strictly control the adjustments to national nature reserves.
