Recently, the General Office of the Central Committee of the CPC and the General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Strengthening the Urban-Rural Community Consultation.
The Opinions clarify the consultation contents, define the consultation subjects, expand the consultation forms, standardize the consultation procedures and make use of consultation achievements, so as to develop the grassroots level democracy, smooth democratic channels, institutionalize and standardize urban-rural community consultation and make it a routine procedure.
