| In view of the sound development of China's foreign exchange market and the increasingly stronger capabilities of market participants in independent pricing and risk management, to satisfy the requirements of market development, allow the market to play a greater role in deciding exchange rates, and establish a regulated floating exchange rate system based on market supply and demand, the People's Bank of China has decided to expand the floating range of CNY/USD exchange rates in the foreign exchange market, and the relevant matters are hereby announced as follows: | | 当前我国外汇市场健康发展，交易主体自主定价和风险管理能力不断增强。为顺应市场发展的要求，加大市场决定汇率的力度，建立以市场供求为基础、有管理的浮动汇率制度，中国人民银行决定扩大外汇市场人民币兑美元汇率浮动幅度，现就有关事宜公告如下： |
