| To promote the strategic transformation of China's energy consumption in transportation, boost the construction of ecological civilization, and support the development of the new-energy automobile industry, in accordance with the requirements of the Announcement of the Ministry of Finance, the State Administration of Taxation, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Exempting New-Energy Automobiles from Vehicle Purchase Tax (Announcement No. 53 [2014]), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has, in conjunction with the State Administration of Taxation and other departments, examined the application materials submitted by enterprises.
