The Provisions on the Reporting Activities in China Conducted by Foreign Journalists during the Beijing Olympic Games and the Preparatory Period are hereby promulgated, and shall come into force as of January 1, 2007, and expire on October 17, 2008.

Article 1 These Provisions are formulated to facilitate the reporting activities of foreign journalists in China during the Beijing Olympic Games and the preparatory period so as to disseminate and carry forward the Olympic spirits.
| | 第一条 为了便于北京奥运会及其筹备期间外国记者在中国境内依法采访报道，传播和弘扬奥林匹克精神，制定本规定。

Article 2 These Provisions shall be applicable to the reporting activities carried out by foreign journalists in China with respect to the Beijing Olympic Games and related matters during the Beijing Olympic Games and the preparatory period.

本规定所称北京奥运会是指第29届奥林匹克运动会和第13届残疾人奥林匹克运动会。
