CIRCULAR OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN TRADE AND ECONOMIC COOPERATION ON THE PROMULGATION OF NAME LIST OF FIRST BATCH OF FAMOUS EXPORT COMMODITIES RECEIVING KEY SUPPORT AND DEVELOPMENT BY MOFTEC

Foreign trade and economic commissions (departments, bureaus) of the various provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the State Council and cities under Central Planning, International Business Daily, various foreign trade centers, foreign trade and economic enterprises under the Central Government, various import and export chambers of commerce, and various economic and trade institutions stationed abroad:
In order to better implement the strategy of winning by superior quality, to speed up the cultivation and creation of high-quality, high-profile and famous brand export commodities influential and competitive in the world market, and to enhance the international competitiveness of export commodities made in China, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation decides to launch a nationwide campaign to cultivate famous export commodities and determines "famous brand export commodities receiving key support and development" to push the campaign.
The name list of the first batch of "famous brand export commodities receiving key support and development" by MOFTEC covers such categories as household appliances, bicycles, motorcycles, textile and garments, light industrial products. The 33 brands in the first list are determined after discussion with relevant departments and are promulgated here by (for the detailed list, see the attachment).

各省、自治区、直辖市及计划单列市外经贸委（厅、局），国际商报社，各外贸中心，中央管理的外经贸企业，各进出口商会，各驻外经济商务机构：
为进一步贯彻实施以质取胜战略，加快培育和创立高质量、高档次、国际市场有影响和竞争力的系列化名牌出口商品，提高我国出口商品的国际竞争力，外经贸部决定在全国开展创名牌出口商品活动，并确定“重点支持和发展的名牌出口商品”予以推动。
第一批列为外经贸部“重点支持和发展的名牌出口商品”名单的商品类别包括：家用电器、自行车、摩托车、纺织服装、轻工消费品。经会同有关部门共同研究，第一批名单共３３个品牌，现予以公布（具体名单附后），并将有关事项通知如下：

1. MOFTEC shall adopt effective measures to support and encourage the development of the brands and enterprises listed as "famous brand export commodities receiving key support and development", including:
| | 一、对列入“重点支持和发展的名牌出口商品”名单的品牌和企业，外经贸部将采取有效措施给予扶持和鼓励，主要包括：
|
1) Prioritized support to set up economic entity or conglomerate integrating export, production and R&D based on brand;
| | （一）优先支持以品牌为基础组建出口经营、生产、科研开发一体化的经济实体或集团公司；
|
2) Prioritized support will be given to enterprises to develop overseas processing business with materials supplied and to set up corresponding production, marketing and aftersales services;
