Notice of the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the China Banking Regulatory Commission on the Pilot Participation of Listed Commercial Banks in Bond Trading on Stock Exchanges
(No. 12 [2009] of the China Securities Regulatory Commission)
All listed commercial banks, Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges, China Securities Depository & Clearing Co. Ltd. and China Government Bond Depository Trust and Clearing Co., Ltd.,
For the purposes of implementing the requirements of the relevant policies and measures for promoting the economic development by finance as given by the executive meeting of the State Council, actively developing the bond market and promoting the enterprise financing, you are hereby notified of the following issues concerning the listed commercial banks' participation in bond trading on stock exchanges:

各上市商业银行，上海、深圳证券交易所，中国证券登记结算有限责任公司，中央国债登记结算有限责任公司：
为落实国务院常务会议部署的金融促进经济发展相关政策措施的要求，积极发展债券市场，促进企业融资，现就开展上市商业银行在证券交易所参与债券交易有关问题通知如下：

1. A commercial bank which has already been listed on a stock exchange may apply to the stock exchange for engaging in bond trading upon the approval of the China Banking Regulatory Commission (hereinafter referred to as the “CBRC”).
| | 一、已经在证券交易所上市的商业银行，经中国银行业监督管理委员会核准后，可以向证券交易所申请从事债券交易。

2. During the pilot period, a commercial bank may, on the fixed income platform of the stock exchange, engage in the trading of such cash bonds as government bonds, enterprise bonds and corporate bonds, as well as the trading of other varieties as approved by the relevant regulatory department.
