The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) recently released the draft of the revised Rules for Hearings on Administrative Penalties to solicit public opinions.
The draft adds five types of administrative penalties to the list of matters to which hearings are applicable, makes an adjustment to the calculation method for minimum amount of penalties to which a hearing is available, relaxes the restrictions on parties attending hearings, and strengthens the protection of parties' hearing-related rights.
