The Supreme People's Court (SPC) has issued revised standards for the management of case information in courts, in a bid to strengthen the foundation for digital court development.
As a key framework guiding how courts nationwide collect and manage case information, the revised standards are designed to align judicial data practices with evolving legal, technological and administrative needs.
This revision enhances the comprehensive, scientific and standardized management of case information. It incorporates information needs of various adjudication departments, reflects ongoing judicial reforms and builds upon the practical experience accumulated in digital court development at all levels.
Compared to the 2015 version, the new standards expand the information categories related to case process management, quality control, specialized judicial functions and governance-related data, while also refining the classification system for cases handled by courts.
The SPC plans to accelerate the development of a unified national court information network and promote the intelligent use of judicial data across courts at all levels.
