The draft revision of the Securities Law was submitted to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress for the first review on April 20. The draft for the first time provides for the application conditions and registration procedures of stocks listing registration.
The draft indicates clearly abolishment of the system of stock issuance review committee, provides for modification of the conditions for stocks offering, and lifts the profitability requirements such as financial status of issuers and continuous profitability capability.
