A conference for full scale promotion of the judicial system reform pilot work was held in Shanghai on April 23. The reform will be implemented in all courts and procuratorates of Shanghai Municipality.
As the comprehensive reform pilot program rolled out, Shanghai is to implement a categorized management reform regarding the judicial personnel, to ensure steady implementation of the headcount control system. Various safeguard measures relating to the judicial system reform pilot program will be vigorously implemented in the meantime. The remuneration of judges and prosecutors within the headcount control scope in the pilot courts and procuratorates will be increased to higher than 43% of that of general civil servants for the moment, and the front-line judges and prosecutors will get favorite treatment.
