| As decided at the 28th Session of the Standing Committee of the Thirteenth National People's Congress, the Education Law of the People's Republic of China is amended as follows: | | 第十三届全国人民代表大会常务委员会第二十八次会议决定对《中华人民共和国教育法》作如下修改： |
| I. Article 3 is amended to read: “In developing the undertaking of socialist education, the state adheres to the leadership of the Communist Party of China, follows the guidance of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thought of Three Represents, the Scientific Outlook on Development, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in a New Era, and follows the basic principles set out in the Constitution.” | | 一、将第三条修改为：“国家坚持中国共产党的领导，坚持以马克思列宁主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论、‘三个代表'重要思想、科学发展观、习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，遵循宪法确定的基本原则，发展社会主义的教育事业。” |
